Describe the essence of what you do in your role at Valeo PT “I help patients discover the root and contributing factors to their ailments as well as provide a road map to their recovery. I also motivate patients to become independent with the necessary interventions to recover and promote a healthier physical lifestyle.” What are some of your personal interests, outside of work? “Weight training, functional strength training, running, technology, and astronomy” What are some things you believe in? What is your favorite quote or words of wisdom? “The quote by Michelangelo, “Ancora Imparo” or I am still learning embodies the essence of my practice pattern. As we are faced with the multitude of environmental factors and their compounding effects on the diverse patient population that we treat, moving forward and adding to our skill set is imperative.” What do you like most about working for Valeo PT? “The team approach and ability to truly grow as a professional. We all share the same desire to move ourselves and the profession forward, to provide the best care to our patients and provide an essential service to the community.” What do you like most about caring for patients? “When a patient understands and embraces what the underlying cause of their pathology is and when they become truly motivated to utilize the necessary tools to correct these imbalances.” Why did you choose to become a physical therapist/assistant/this position? “My interest in health and fitness spawned the pursuit to further my knowledge base, leading me to what I feel is the perfect profession to apply and share this passion.” What do you think patients like most about you? “Our genuine concern to provide specific, quality treatment that will improve function and remedy the mechanical faults that produce pain and diminish performance.” |
